There's always a chance of finding a Brambling when a winter Chaffinch is about though and they can be tricky to tell apart - especially in poor light - so it's worth listening out for the call of a Brambling which has a distinctive kind of buzzing squawk - I certainly tend to hear them before I see them!<br />Markhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12689875056950160006noreply@blogger.com
