Alex, aged 12. This is my diary of the wildlife where I live in Oxfordshire, and sometimes the places I visit. My passion is for British wildlife, especially badgers, hares and Kingfishers.
I have now stopped blogging on this account but I will leave it running.

A few months ago we watched the squirrel nest being build, now 4 baby squirrels have emerged.
Well, 3 actually, the fourth one couldn't quite pluck up the courage to come out even though one of the other squirrels kept going back to the hole to encourage it out.
This is as far as it got.
The other 3 squirrels spent their time jumping and climbing even if it was cautiously.
After about an hour the 3 squirrels found a place on a branch to sit in the sun.
I took a little film of one of them leaping to a branch it nearly missed but managed to get it's feet back on the twigs
