The visitors centre is attached to Twiggywinkles animal hospital and has animals that have been rescued, treated but for different reasons can't be released back into the wild.
Twiggywinkles is famous for rescuing hedghogs like this one. They have hundred of hedgehogs in every year and almost all of them are released back in to the wild. Except the ones with head trauma, blinded or missing a leg.
We got the chance to see the baby birds, rabbit and hedgehogs being fed.
There are three resident foxes who I could have (and did) spent ages watching them
They have lots of Red kites but many that have been released back into the wild don't go very far, like this one that is sat on top of one of the enclosures
