Stumbled across a Red Necked Grebe

This morning it was such a lovely sunny day we decided to go for a walk at Farmoor reservoir.

Once we got to the far end we came across lots of photographers taking photos of a Red Necked Grebe in Summer Plumage.

This is a rare sighting in Oxfordshire.

Great Crested Grebe

There wasn't as many birds on the reservoir as I have seen before but here are some of the birds we saw.
Mallard

Coot nesting in the fishing nests

Cormorant

I think this is a Bunting, possibly a reed bunting.
